Guest Speaker – Sparks Charity Event

Speaking at The Sparks Charity special Thank You drinks reception at The Royal College of Physicians, London (2018). This unique event was held to value Sparks’ closest supporters, as well as sharing some exciting updates and Sparks’ future ambition. Not only did I have the opportunity to share our daughter’s journey with spina bifida, I was also able to speak with some truly inspiring research scientists and celebrities (and enjoy a night in a lovely hotel!).

Guest Speaker – National Award for SENCOs

For the past 5 years (from 2013 – 2018) I have been asked to present to SENCOs completing the final day of their National Award course. I have shared my journey as a SEND Mum, with a particular focus on the role that school has had to play in this journey.
